The Santa Barbara Earth Day Festival is held at Alameda Park, Santa Barbara.

Come Car Free to the Festival

Alameda Park is easily reached on foot or by bike, bus, shuttle or train. Cars are a major source of smog pollution and greenhouse gases contributing to global climate change. Get in the spirit and enjoy car ‘free-dom’ on Earth Day.’

Ride the bus

Check out the Santa Barbara Metropolitan (MTD) bus and electric shuttle system. They'll get you where you want to be! If you are coming from Ventura, you also have the option of taking the Coastal Express Bus.

Use pedal power

At the festival, you’ll find FREE bike valet near the corner of Santa Barbara and Micheltorena Streets in Alameda Park, sponsored and run by MoveSanta Barbara County. Find a bike route using Traffic Solutions’ Bike Map App: http://www.trafficsolutions.org/SBC-BikeMap. Bike Valet is located in the bike zone where you can enjoy many bike activities.

Take a walk

The Festival is a short walk from many parts of Santa Barbara.  Many neighborhoods like the Westside, Oak Park, or the Eastside are less than a 30 minute stroll. Lace up your walking shoes, enjoy the view, and get some exercise on the way.

If you have to drive, then carpool

Reduce your carbon emissions, save gas money, and have fun with your friends by sharing a ride!
